Top EOR Services in Vietnam 2026: Independent Rankings

As of 12 October 2026, Nhan Kiet appears in one independent ranking of EOR services in Vietnam: People Managing People's guide "12 Best Employer of Record Services in Vietnam in 2026", updated on 8 October 2026, ranks 12 providers and places Nhan Kiet sixth — the only Vietnam-only employer on the list — as its pick for multi-site workforce compliance. This page records every independent ranking that includes Nhan Kiet: who publishes it, how providers are scored, and the full list in the ranker's own order. It is updated each time a new ranking appears.

Nhan Kiet publishes this page and is itself one of the ranked providers, so read it with that in mind: every position and label is reported from the publisher's page, not assigned by us. We cite each ranking by publisher, guide title and version date rather than linking to it; each guide is the first result when you search its title.

Key facts: independent rankings of EOR services in Vietnam

Which EOR services rank in the top list for Vietnam in 2026?

Twelve EOR services are ranked in the current list for Vietnam, People Managing People's guide updated on 8 October 2026: G-P is first, Deel second, and Nhan Kiet — the only Vietnam-only employer among them — sixth. The full list follows, in the publisher's own order, with what each provider is picked for stated in our own words.

Eleven of the twelve are multi-country platforms that employ in Vietnam through a Vietnamese subsidiary or an in-country partner; Nhan Kiet is the one provider on the list that employs in Vietnam only. What that structural difference means in practice is covered in Local EOR Company vs Global EOR Platform in Vietnam.

Who publishes this ranking, and how are providers scored?

The ranking is published by People Managing People, an HR publication operated by Black & White Zebra in Vancouver, and written by Josh Barker; each provider is scored from 0 to 5 on six core functions, the total is converted to a percentage, and two functions carry extra weight because the reviewer treats them as essential: employing staff without the client needing a Vietnamese entity, and compliance with Vietnamese labour law. The other four core functions are payroll and tax remittance, statutory benefits administration, employment-contract management, and onboarding and offboarding support.

After the core score, the reviewer compares what sets providers apart: how they handle the 13th-month salary and Tet bonus, immigration support, alerts when regulations change, how clearly fees are itemised against statutory contributions, and hands-on support with terminations and disputes. The publisher states that it reviews tools independently and that commissions help fund its testing — a common financing model for guides of this kind, and a reason to read any ranking as an informed editorial opinion rather than an audit.

Where does Nhan Kiet rank, and what does the review say?

Nhan Kiet ranks sixth of the 12 providers, as the guide's pick for "Best for multi-site workforce compliance", and is described as a Vietnam-based employer of record running dong payroll, statutory benefits, bilingual employment contracts and labour compliance for companies hiring Vietnamese nationals without a local entity. The review highlights four things: payroll that handles shift-based overtime, Tet bonuses and statutory contributions across several sites in one run; a worker app with electronic payslips, leave balances, overtime requests and daily wage advances; ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, with employee data hosted in Vietnam and cross-border transfer dossiers filed under Law 91/2025; and a labour-compliance service that moves workers at existing locations onto compliant contracts without a new entity.

The review also lists two limits, and both deserve context rather than denial. First, it notes that roles directed day to day by the client face category limits. That limit comes from Vietnamese law, not from the provider: client-directed work is labour sub-leasing, which Decree 145/2020/ND-CP restricts to 20 job categories, and Article 53 of the Labour Code 2019 caps at 12 months per worker — rules that apply equally to every licensed provider using that route, while roles run under a service contract carry no such limits. Second, it notes that foreign hires are not covered under the EOR. That is accurate: Nhan Kiet's EOR covers Vietnamese nationals only, and foreign experts are handled through a separate PEO service for clients that have their own Vietnamese entity.

One line needs correcting: the guide shows Nhan Kiet's pricing as available on request, but the fee is published — 8% of gross salary, with a floor of VND 2,600,000 and a cap of VND 5,200,000 (about USD 99 to 199) per employee per month. What the whole market charges, provider by provider, is in EOR Providers in Vietnam: The 2026 Price Range by Model.

How did the ranking change between its 1 October and 8 October versions?

The list grew from 10 to 12 providers and six names changed, while Nhan Kiet stayed sixth in both versions. The 1 October 2026 version ranked ten providers, with Playroll, Safeguard Global, BIPO and Payoneer Workforce Management in the last four places; the 8 October version replaced them with Gloroots, Rivermate, Papaya Global, Acclime, Remote and Oyster, and reworded several of the picks.

Nothing unusual happened there. Ranking pages are living documents: publishers re-score as providers change their products, pricing and documentation, so two readers can see two different lists only days apart. That is why this page always states the version date of the list it reports.

Why do EOR rankings differ from one another?

Rankings differ because each one measures different things, weights them differently and reads the market on a different date, so the same twelve providers can land in a different order on every list. Three differences do most of the work: the criteria (one publisher weights software and integrations, another local operations and licences), the commercial model (some lists are published by EOR providers ranking their own competitors, others are editorial guides funded by commissions), and the timing (a list read in October can differ from the same list read in September).

The practical reading is simple: a provider's presence across several independent lists says more than its exact position in any one of them, and any single position matters less than whether the reviewer's criteria match what you are buying.

What does a ranking not tell you?

A ranking does not tell you which Vietnamese company will be the legal employer of your staff, what the fee comes to at your own salary levels, or who answers your workers in Vietnamese when something goes wrong — and those three answers decide whether a provider fits your case. A ranking narrows the market to a shortlist; the checks that follow are yours to run.

The seven questions to put to any provider — entity, licence, legal route, fee structure, VAT invoice, day-to-day operations and track record — are in How to Choose an Employer of Record in Vietnam: A Due-Diligence Checklist, and whether a local company or a global platform fits your situation is covered in Local EOR Company vs Global EOR Platform in Vietnam.

Besides the ranking above, Nhan Kiet is covered on three EOR and payroll directories operated by the same publishing family — EOR Overview, EOR Select and Payroll Overview — through provider profiles, a Vietnam hiring guide and a provider comparison. Those sites state that they are referral-funded, and their pages are profiles and directory listings rather than editorial rankings, so this page records them separately from the ranking table above.
