Local EOR Company in Hanoi: Nhan Kiet Cau Giay Branch
By Nguyen Quoc Trung — Deputy General Director · Updated
Nhan Kiet is a local EOR company in Hanoi: its Hanoi branch is in Room 701, Kim Anh Building, No. 1 Lane 78, Cau Giay Ward, and it employs Vietnamese staff in the capital for foreign companies that have no legal entity in Vietnam. Hanoi is where foreign companies deal with ministries, state-owned partners and the northern technology and manufacturing belt, and many of them need one or two people on the ground long before they need a subsidiary. This guide explains how a local EOR works in Hanoi, which minimum wage applies, what one employee costs, and how to confirm the provider is genuinely local.
Is Nhan Kiet a local EOR company in Hanoi?
Yes. Nhan Kiet is a Vietnamese company (tax code 0308022768) with a branch in Hanoi's Cau Giay Ward, and it is the legal employer of the staff it employs for clients: the labour contract, social insurance registration and personal income tax filings are in Nhan Kiet's name. Its head office is in Ho Chi Minh City, where its labour sub-leasing licence No. 15/2019/SHCM was issued, and the same company and licence cover clients in Hanoi. There is no partner company between you and the employer. Before you sign with any provider, ask whose name is on the labour contract and the social insurance record; our checklist for verifying a local EOR takes ten minutes.
What does a local EOR in Hanoi do for a foreign company?
A local EOR in Hanoi lets a foreign company employ staff in the capital without a representative office, branch or subsidiary. You choose the person and direct their work; Nhan Kiet signs the labour contract, pays the salary, pays compulsory social, health and unemployment insurance and the 2% trade union fee, withholds personal income tax and handles termination when the time comes. This is often the fastest way to put a country representative, a project coordinator or a first engineer in Hanoi while you test the market. A new hire in Hanoi usually starts within 5–7 working days of signing.
Which minimum wage applies in Hanoi in 2026?
Hanoi's urban wards and many of its outer communes are in minimum-wage Region I, VND 5,310,000 per month from 1 January 2026 under Decree 293/2025/ND-CP; the remaining communes are in Region II, VND 4,730,000.
- Region I includes the central wards such as Hoan Kiem, Ba Dinh, Dong Da, Hai Ba Trung, Cau Giay, Thanh Xuan, Tay Ho, Long Bien and Ha Dong, and outer communes such as Dong Anh, Gia Lam, Me Linh, Quang Minh, Noi Bai, Soc Son, Hoa Lac, Thach That, Hoai Duc and Thuong Tin.
- Region II covers the other communes and wards of the city.
Under Article 3(3) of the decree, the region follows the area where the employer or its branch operates, and an industrial or high-tech park that spans several regions applies the highest. Office salaries in central Hanoi are usually far above the minimum; the floor matters most for operational and factory roles.
Which roles do foreign companies hire through a local EOR in Hanoi?
Foreign companies most often hire through a local EOR in Hanoi for roles that need to be close to government, large Vietnamese partners or the northern industrial belt. Typical examples are country representatives and business development managers, project and procurement coordinators, software engineers and QA testers in the Cau Giay technology area, engineers who support suppliers in the industrial parks around Dong Anh, Quang Minh and Noi Bai, and staff for the Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park. For electronics factories in the neighbouring province, see Local EOR company in Bac Ninh, which Nhan Kiet serves from its Hanoi branch.
How much does one employee in Hanoi cost through a local EOR?
One employee in Hanoi on a gross salary of VND 30,000,000 costs VND 42,822,000 per month through Nhan Kiet, all-in. Even at VND 30 million, 8% (VND 2,400,000) is still below the VND 2,600,000 minimum fee; the fee only rises above the minimum from a gross salary of VND 32.5 million.

| Employer statutory contributions (23.5%) | VND 7,050,000 |
| Service fee | VND 2,600,000 |

| Total | VND 42,822,000 |

Can an EOR based in Ho Chi Minh City really be local in Hanoi?
An EOR is local in Hanoi when it is a Vietnamese employer with people and an office in the city, not only when its head office is there. Nhan Kiet's Hanoi branch handles clients and employees in the north, while the employing company, licence and payroll system are the same as in Ho Chi Minh City. What you should avoid is the opposite case: a provider with a Hanoi address but no Vietnamese employing entity, which passes your staff to a third party. Ask whose name is on the labour contract and the social insurance record; the full checklist is in Local EOR company in Vietnam.
Can a foreign company employ a foreign manager in Hanoi through a local EOR?
Nhan Kiet's EOR service is for Vietnamese employees. A foreign manager or expert in Hanoi needs a work permit through a Vietnamese employer, so a company that already has an entity in Vietnam uses the PEO model: your entity is the employer and Nhan Kiet handles the work permit, visa, temporary residence card, payroll, insurance and tax.
